Trying to figure out where to get photos taken but just don’t know where to start?
That’s why I created this guide to show you where my favorite spots are around the area to take photos!
Metea County Park
A hot spot for photos! Metea County park has quite a variety of scenery that makes it a photographers favorite! When you arrive at the park, there is a $2/person entrance fee. When you pull in, before you is the iconic grassy field with mowed down paths for easy access. There are trails and tree lines as well as a pond. Definitely a top favorite on my list!
Headwaters Park
Located just outside Downtown Fort Wayne, Headwaters Park has a mixture of grassy areas, walking paths, and geometric shapes that create beautiful photos! Located on the park’s west side is a riverfront with a pier and weeping willow that make whimsical photos!
Downtown Fort Wayne
Who said a roof top can’t be used to create beautiful photos? Downtown Fort Wayne has A LOT of different places to take industrial photos. The courthouse, the courthouse yard, a parking garage rooftop and the Landing all are just few places to take photos downtown.
Promenade Park
Want a mixture of industrial and rural feel for your photos? Promenade Park is the perfect place. Located on the riverfront, Promenade has both a grassy yard and industrial structures that will provide variety for your photos.
Chain 'O Lakes
Located in Albion, IN, Chain O Lakes is a collection of small lakes with a variety of scenery. One of the highlights of this place is the grassy field, paths, and lake access for beautiful photos. There is an entrance fee of $7/vechicle. However, it is worth it!
